PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system that can easily decide whether or not a person, who is in a hurry to a destination floor, should wait for a car at an elevator landing place.SOLUTION: An elevator system includes: an elevator landing place button device provided at elevator landing places on a plurality of floors to register a landing place call; a waiting customer detection means provided at elevator landing places on the plurality of floors to detect a waiting customer; an getting-on/-off car detection means provided near landing doors on the plurality of floors to detect getting-on of the waiting customer and to detect getting-off of a passenger; an elevator control panel that adds the number of people, who have passed the waiting customer detection means to the entrance side of the elevator landing place as the number of waiting customers, subtracts the number of people, who have passed the waiting customer detection means to the exit side of the elevator landing place from the number of waiting customers, adds the number of waiting customers who have got on as the number of passengers, and subtracts the number of got-off passengers from the number of passengers; and an indicator provided at the elevator landing places on the plurality of floors, to indicate the number of waiting customers, the number of passengers, and the direction of the elevator landing place call on each of the plurality of floors calculated by the elevator control panel. |
