The objective of the present invention is to provide an application jig allowing forming of an outer periphery seal layer on the entire outer peripheral surface of a ceramic block, this application jig being provided with a first main surface, a second main surface that is on the opposite side from the first main surface, and an opening section passing from the first main surface to the second main surface, the jig being characterized in that the opening section comprises a first opening section on the first main surface side and a second opening section on the second main surface side, the diameter of the first opening section becoming smaller from the first main surface toward the boundary line between the first opening section and the second opening section, the diameter of the second opening section being the same from the boundary line toward the second main surface. |
