PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for activation treatment of a hydrogen storage alloy, which can perform the treatment using a container that is actually used while being filled with the hydrogen storage alloy, and can efficiently treat the hydrogen storage alloy even in the large amount or with a small grain size.SOLUTION: A method for activation treatment of a hydrogen storage alloy includes the steps of: evacuating the inside of a container filled with a hydrogen storage alloy under a temperature condition of 40-300°C; allowing a hydrogen gas to pass through the inside of the container under the temperature condition; and cooling the interior temperature of the container to 40°C or lower. |
