PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a characteristic scene not included in other video images for each of a plurality of video images, and to list and display respective representative images.SOLUTION: A plurality of video images each constituted of a plurality of scenes are acquired in S301, and all the scenes are classified into a plurality of clusters in S303. Then, for each video image, processing of S305-S307 is performed. That is, in S305, among the plurality of clusters divided in S303, the cluster in which the scene of the video image is included and the number of the other video image scenes is minimum is selected. Then, in S306, among the video image scenes included in the selected cluster, the scene for which the distance of a feature amount distribution to the selected cluster is minimum is selected as a representative scene for representing the video image. Then, in S307, the representative image is selected from frame images included in the representative scene. |
