PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means capable of instantly observing a magnetic field using a trichromatic image display device and so forth, which solves the problem in which the conventional technology, such Gauss meters, associated with magnetic field measurement is not sufficient for instantly measuring a spatial distribution of magnetic field.SOLUTION: The fact that electron beams transported in vacuum by a magnetic field to be observed are deflected by the Lorentz force acting thereon is utilized. Deviation from color balance on a cathode luminescence display, which uses trichromatic luminescence, due to the electron beam deflection by the magnetic field depends on intensity and a spatial distribution of the magnetic field, which makes it possible to simultaneously observe the spatial distribution of the magnetic field as an image pattern. |
