PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when discharging from a nozzle, a melt obtained by mixing a molten resin and liquefied carbon dioxide, the melt discharged is solidified in a fibrous state before granulating or in such a state as to be put together by being rapidly cooled and thus, the recovery rate of particles degrades by generation of fibrous product or the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a particle production method including spraying a melt while feeding a second compressible fluid containing nitrogen. It becomes possible to alleviate lowering of temperature caused by Joule-Thomson effect accompanying a pressure change at the time when spraying the melt by the second compressible fluid containing nitrogen. Thus, since it is inhibited for the sprayed melt from being solidified in such a state before the melt is granulated, the recovery rate of particles is improved.
