摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming device in which the time for a reforming catalyst to reach a reformable temperature can be shortened and which is also excellent in the aspect of compactness or pressure loss of the device per se.SOLUTION: A reforming device includes a catalyst unit including a reforming catalyst and an oxidation catalyst and an electric heating type heater configured to have a conductive member which is disposed while being wound spirally. The catalyst unit includes a carrier for carrying catalyst particles of the catalysts of the reforming catalyst and the oxidation catalyst, and a substrate supporting the carrier. At least any one of the catalyst particles of each catalyst, the carrier and the substrate is formed by including a conductive material. The electric heating type heater is disposed adjacently to the catalyst unit upstream of the catalyst unit, and by electrifying an AC current to the conductive member of the electric heating type heater, the conductive member is heated, and by inducing the catalyst unit through electromagnetic induction resulting from the electrification of the AC current to the conductive member, the catalyst unit is heated.
