PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent negative electrode material for a nonaqueous secondary battery having high capacity, high cycle characteristic and high rate characteristic, a negative electrode for the nonaqueous secondary battery using the same, the nonaqueous secondary battery, and peculiarly lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: A negative electrode material for a nonaqueous secondary battery contains carbonaceous particles (A) and silicon oxide particles (B), and the carbonaceous particle (A) is a mixture containing at least of spheroidized graphite particles (A1) and flake graphite particles (A2). It is preferred that the hiss typed negative electrode material for the nonaqueous secondary battery contains 1 to 50 pts.mass of the silicon oxide particles (B) for 100 pts.mass of the carbonaceous particles (A), and a mass ratio of the spheroidized graphite particles (A1) to the flake graphite particles (A2) is 95:5 to 5:95. |
