WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, BASE STATION, AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD

In order to notify a user terminal of parameters pertaining to features defined by a Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) system at the appropriate timing, this wireless communication method is used in a wireless communication system provided with a base station configured according to the standards of the LTE-A system, and a user terminal configured so as to be able to wirelessly communicate with the base station. The base station generates downlink control channel information pertaining to an expanded physical downlink control channel, and uses an RRC Connection Reconfiguration signal to notify the user terminal of the downlink control channel information; and the user terminal receives the RRC Connection Reconfiguration signal, and configures downlink control channel information.
