<p>The purpose of the present invention is to store, as cold storage or heat storage, a portion of power generated by a solar battery or the like. A power control device is provided with a DC/DC converter constructed so as to be able to connect with DC power of a power conversion device that converts DC power obtained from a solar battery or the like into AC power. The power control device is constructed in such a way that a Peltier element is wire-connected to the DC/DC converter and a heat absorbing surface of this Peltier element faces the inside of a duct through which cold air of a freezer is made to circulate, and a heat radiating surface of the Peltier element achieves heat exchange with hot water inside a hot water storage tank by way of a water heat exchanger. Furthermore, the power control device has a construction in which a portion of the DC power obtained from the renewable energy is supplied to the Peltier element by way of the DC/DC converter, and, in addition, either one of at least the cold in the freezer or the heat in the hot water storage tank is used to supply DC power obtained from the Peltier element to the power conversion device by way of the DC/DC converter.</p> |
