<p>Provided is a printing device capable of printing on a printing medium such as paper with a simple configuration even when one is, for example, at an outside destination or a business trip destination. In a printing system (PS) provided with a mounting section (21) on which a smart phone (S) can be mounted and a print head (25) that prints on printing paper, print control data comprising printing information that is to be printed and print head movement control data for moving the print head (25) to the printing position on the printing paper are acquired from a smart phone (S), which is mounted on the mounting section (21). The print head (25) is moved to the printing position on the basis of the print head movement control data and the print head (25) is also made to perform printing on the basis of the print control data.</p> |
