By referencing correlation information, an information processing device determines a target value for a temperature of a processing unit contained in the information processing system on the basis of the temperature of the processing unit at a time when a third power consumption is indicated to be relatively low, said correlation information indicating a change in the third power consumption in relation to a change in the temperature of the processing unit, said third power consumption being the sum total of a first power consumption, which is for the processing unit, and a second power consumption, which is for the air-conditioning device contained in the information processing system. On the basis of the target value, the information processing device outputs a control signal that controls the air-conditioning device.
