PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tackifier that does not cause the degradation of adhesive strength due to effects of moisture (water) and wet heat and can impart adhesion excellent in resistance to moist heat; to provide a composition for an aqueous adhesives, containing the tackifier; and the aqueous adhesive.SOLUTION: This invention relates to: a tackifier that contains a vinyl polymer (A) having a weight average molecular weight of 500-30,000 and has a structure derived from a reactive surface active agent (a1); a composition for an aqueous adhesive, containing the tackifier; and the aqueous adhesive.
