PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance illumination device capable of allowing a ring-shaped light-emitting region, and an electronic apparatus including the illumination device.SOLUTION: The illumination device has: a flat plate-like light guide plate; and a plurality of light sources which are arranged so as to oppose light emission surfaces thereof to a side face of the light guide plate and which make light incident to the inside of the light guide plate through the side face. A prism is formed on one surface of the light guide plate, which is arranged so as to surround a center part of the light guide plate and reflects light emitted from the plurality of light sources and propagating through the light guide plate to emit the light from the other surface of the light guide plate. The prism is formed for each of the plurality of light sources so that the light emitted from the light source is radiated from the other surface in a region opposed to the light source and sandwiching the center part of the light guide plate. |
