PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data reception circuit and a data reception method capable of acquiring a data signal precisely corresponding to information data, from a signal transmitted at high speed and high density.SOLUTION: The increase or decrease of the level of a data signal transmitted from either an amplification processing step of supplying onto a first line an amplified data signal obtained by amplification of a received data signal or a level conversion processing step of transmitting via a second line a level-converted data signal obtained by level conversion processing of the amplified data signal is negatively fed back to the prestage of the processing step.
