PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably identify a position pressed by a writing tool and change content written by an operator into electronic data with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An electronic writing device 2 includes: a placement part 24 for placing thereon a sheet 70 where an operator performs writing operation using a pen 3; and a touch panel 25 that is provided on the placement part 24 and detects a pressing position at which a tip of the pen 3 presses the sheet 70 and a pressing force at the pressing position at the time of the writing operation. The electronic writing device 2 determines a unique individual pressure pattern on the basis of a pressure detection result when the operator performs predetermined pattern writing operation and stores the determined individual pressure pattern. When simultaneously detecting plural pressing positions with at least one individual pressure pattern stored, the electronic writing device 2 applies the at least one individual pressure pattern to the detection result and identifies a pressing position by the pen 3. The electronic writing device 2 uses positional information on the identified pressing position to generate stroke data corresponding to writing onto the sheet 70. |
