PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that enables release of fitting lock between two housings even in a narrow working space, the connector having a simple structure.SOLUTION: A connector allows a lock arm 31c to be engaged with an engaging hole 14, thereby enabling a female connector housing 31 and a male connector housing 11 to be locked. The female connector housing 31 has a releasing member 50 assembled thereon such that the releasing member 50 can move between a standby position and a release position. When the female connector housing 31 is in the process of being engaged with the male connector housing 11, the releasing member 50 is placed in the standby position to allow the lock arm 31c to bow downward, and when the female connector housing 31c is fully engaged with the male connector housing 11, the releasing member 50 comes to the standby position to allow the lock arm 31c to return upward, thereby causing the lock arm 31c to be engaged with the engaging hole 14 to establish a locked state. When the releasing member 50 moves from the standby position to the release position, the lock arm 31c bows downward, thereby releasing engagement between the lock arm 31c and the engaging hole 14. |
