When an engaging piece is made to protrude from the back end of the seat cushion, the invention prevents the difficulty of the engaging piece being caught on the back end of the upper panel of the under cover when being drawn out from the lower end of the seat back. An engaging piece (20) protrudes from the back end of the seat cushion. An under cover (17) has an upper panel (17u), which is molded from a synthetic resin and covers the upper surface of a base member. The back end of the upper panel is inclined upwards. A guiding groove (22), which is a guiding section in the front-back direction into which the engaging piece (20) enters to avoid contact with the inclined surface of the back end of the upper panel when the back end of the seat cushion is slid into the lower end of the seat back, is formed in the inclined surface of the back end of the upper panel. Ribs (22a) are provided on the bottom surface of the guiding groove. With the guiding groove (22) serving as an escape space, the engaging piece (20) moves in the guiding groove in the front-back direction thereof and is pressed and engaged with the lower end of the seat back without being caught on the inclined surface (upper surface) of the back end of the upper panel. |
