<p>[Problem] The objective of the present invention is to provide a tactile printer which has a simple configuration and operation and allows for selection of a wide range of curable liquids and workpieces on which a plot of Braille lettering or a tactile graphic is to be formed. [Solution] This tactile printer (10) is provided with an input device (20), a dispenser (40) which functions as an output device (30), a robot arm (72) which functions as a movement mechanism (70), and a control device (80) for performing operation control. The control device (80) is provided with a conversion engine (85) which converts character information or graphical information which has been input by the input device (20) into a formation pattern for a plot (P) of Braille lettering or a tactile graphic. The tactile printer (10) subjects words inputted via the input device (20) to conversion processing in the conversion engine (85) and causes the dispenser (40) and the robot arm (72) to operate on the basis of the conversion results of the same, thereby allowing Braille lettering or a tactile graphic to be depicted upon the workpiece (W).</p> |
