摘要 The invention relates to a device (1) having a plurality N1 of photosensitive microcells (2) for detecting one or more photons, each photosensitive microcell having an avalanche photodiode (3) that can be reverse biased and that can be operated in the Geiger mode and a quenching resistor (4) connected in series with the avalanche photodiode (3), wherein the N1 microcells (2) are grouped in N2 microcell groups (5) each having N3 microcells (2), wherein an amplifier element (6) having at least one source connection (7), one collective connection (8), and N3 control connections (9) is associated with each microcell group (5), wherein the N3 control connections (9) of each amplifier element (6) are connected to a node (10) between the avalanche photodiode (3) and the quenching resistor (4) of one of the N3 microcells (2) of the associated microcell group (5), and wherein the collective connection (8) of each amplifier element (6) is connected to the N3 microcells (2) of the associated microcell group (5). The capacitive load per microcell group is reduced by using a single amplifier element having a collective connection for a plurality of microcells of a microcell group. Thus, the capacitive load of the connected signal line is reduced. Accordingly, the speed of the trigger on the signal line is increased. The invention further relates to a photomultiplier and a method for producing a device having a plurality N1 of photosensitive microcells.
