METHOD FOR PURIFYING MUSSEL ADHESIVE PROTEIN THROUGH MULTI-MODE CHROMATOGRAPHY

The present invention provides a method for purifying mussel adhesive protein through multi-mode chromatography. The extraction of strong acids, the weak cation exchange gel of high salt resistance in combination with the ligand medium having hydrophobic and hydrogen bonding adsorption are used for isolating and purifying the mussel adhesive protein in the method. Since the method for isolating mussel adhesive protein of the present invention is based on one separation medium using three principles about ion exchange, hydrogen bonding adsorption and hydrophobic adsorption, the method has high selectivity, and simplifies the purification process, and decreases the production cost.
