For connecting a connecting piece (10), for example a tube coupling or an armature or a fitting, to a heat insulated conduit pipe (1), a calibration ring (9) of the connecting piece is driven between the inner pipe (2) of the conduit pipe and the insulating layer (3) thereof. Subsequently, a shell (11) is fastened in the inner pipe, for example by pressing the shell into the inner pipe. Thus, the removal of the insulating layer (3) and the shell (4) of the conduit pipe is not necessary.
