PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that includes a developer carrier having an irregular shape on the surface and can suppress a variation in the conveyance amount of developer over time, an image forming apparatus including the developing device, and a process cartridge.SOLUTION: A developing device includes a developing roller 42 having an irregular shape on the surface, and a doctor blade 45 that contacts the surface of the developing roller 42 to regulate the amount of a toner T conveyed to a development area. The developing device further includes an edge surface 45f that is a contact position opposing surface connecting an opposing surface 45b of the doctor blade 45 that opposes the developing roller 42 and a leading edge surface 45a at the leading edge of the doctor blade 45 with a straight line or a curved line; and the doctor blade 45 contacts the developing roller 42 at the edge surface 45f. |
