PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the influence of the electromagnetic noise from a light source on an optical sensor when photo-acoustic measurement is conducted.SOLUTION: A subject information acquisition apparatus includes: a light source; a light source unit in which a driving circuit for driving the light source is provided; a probe for converting an acoustic wave generated from the subject by receiving light irradiation emitted from a light source into an electric signal; a light detecting means for detecting the light emitted from the light source to generate a trigger signal; a controller for receiving the trigger signal from the light detecting means and the electric signal from the probe to generate characteristic information inside the subject; and a housing for shielding an electromagnetic noise generated from the light source unit. The housing stores the light detecting means so as to separate the light source unit and the light detecting means. |
