PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development that has excellent charge stability under a high-temperature and high-humidity environment.SOLUTION: Provided is a toner for electrostatic charge image development that contains toner base particles containing colorant, a binder resin, and a mold release agent; and an external additive. The external additive contains a liquid aliphatic hydrocarbon resin having a branched structure. Also provided are electrostatic charge image developer containing the toner for electrostatic charge image development, a cartridge accommodating the toner for electrostatic charge image or the electrostatic charge image developer, and an image forming apparatus or an image forming method using the toner for electrostatic charge image development.
