PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support creation, by simple operation of an image with depth expressing the local projections and depressions of a three-dimensional object.SOLUTION: A depth creation support device 1 extracts and draws the contour line of an inputted mask image, and accepts setting of anchor points and depths to some points along the contour line. The depth creation support device 1 interpolates depth values at the respective points along the contour line in accordance with the positions and the depth values of the inputted anchor points, and calculates the depth values of respective pixels in the internal region of the contour line so that the internal region becomes a smooth plane, thereby creating an image with depth. This enables a user to obtain an image with depth having an internal region varying smoothly, by only a simple operation of setting depth values to at least two points along the contour line 61 of the mask image. |
