An objective of the present invention is to improve usability of a vehicle-mounted electronic device. A vehicle-mounted electronic device is configured such that, when improper content is detected by an improper content detector unit, an audio play restriction is executed in a display device, and when a volume change operation is executed while the audio play restriction is in effect, a notice is displayed in the display unit that the volume change operation has been executed while the audio play restriction is in effect. Thus, the fact that the audio play restriction is executed as a result of the play of improper content, and the fact that, during said execution, the volume change operation is executed, are displayed. Accordingly, it is possible to carry out a modification of volume when playing the next piece of content, and as a result, usability is good without a sudden increase in volume. |
