This image search device reduces the possibility that search target images are selected in which the number of local features of said search target images differs substantially from the number of local features of the query image. This image search device acquires query feature values indicating local features of the query image; from image feature values which indicate local features of each image and which are stored in advance in a storage means for each of the target search images, selects image feature values corresponding to each query feature value such that for one query feature value, one image feature value is selected for each of the search target images; generates a score indicating the degree of similarity to the query image of each of the search target images on the basis of the image feature values selected corresponding to the query feature values; and selects, on the basis of the scores generated for the images, at least one image from the search target images.
