ROLLBACK PREVENTION SYSTEM FOR MOBILE MACHINE

A rollback prevention system is disclosed for use with a mobile machine. The rollback prevention system may have an input device configured to receive an input indicative of a desired travel direction, a travel sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of an actual travel direction, and a brake sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of a brake activation status. The rollback prevention system may also have a controller configured to make a determination that the actual travel direction of the mobile machine is opposite the desired travel direction, and to selectively increase a torque output of the transmission to a first level based on the determination. The controller may also be configured to reduce the torque output below the first level when the signal indicates brake activation, and to return the torque output to the first level when the signal indicates brake deactivation.
