<p>Provided is an indoor unit for an air conditioning apparatus which makes it possible to achieve a balance of lightweightness of a decorative panel, reduced costs and improved strength. The indoor unit for an air conditioning apparatus is provided with a main body case (31) which is disposed inside a ceiling (30); and a decorative panel (32) which is disposed along the ceiling (30) attached to the lower part of the main body case (31) and has a rectangular air blowout port (46) formed therein. The decorative panel (32) comprises a sheet metal centre panel (71), and synthetic resin side panels (72) which are attached to both sides of the centre panel (71) orthogonal to the lengthwise direction of the blowout port (46).</p> |
