PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber yarn for a pile, the fiber yarn enabling production of a mop with extremely high cleaning efficiency of pet hair, human hair or the like and exhibiting good productivity at a low cost.SOLUTION: A fiber yarn for a pile 56 comprises a first yarn 54a having the largest fineness, and a second yarn 54b having the second largest fineness. A first projection 60 is formed on a surface of the fiber yarn for a pile 56 in the fiber direction by means of the first yarn 54a, and a second projection 62 is formed by means of the second yarn 54b. An uneven pattern is formed on the surface of the fiber yarn in the fiber direction by means of a difference in height 66 between the first projection 60 and the second projection 62. House dusts such as pet hair and human hair entering the uneven pattern are removed. |
