PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporative concentration apparatus capable of suppressing consumption of a cleaning solution and generation of an unnecessary amount of waste liquid after cleaning by accurately grasping an adhesion state of scale to the surface of a heat transfer pipe.SOLUTION: A evaporative concentration apparatus including an evaporator 12 for storing an undiluted solution, a heat transfer pipe 16 arranged in the evaporator 12 to generate steam, a condensed water discharge line 28 for discharging condensed water generated from steam from the evaporator 12, and a cleaning solution supply line 44 for supplying a cleaning solution for cleaning the heat transfer pipe 16 to the evaporator 12 further includes: a level gauge 36 for measuring the liquid surface level of the undiluted solution in the evaporator; a flowmeter 48 for measuring the flow rate of the undiluted solution supplied to the evaporator 12 or the condensed water; and a control part for controlling the supply amount of the undiluted solution so that the liquid surface level is included within a preset range, and when the flow rate of the flowmeter 48 becomes a preset threshold or less, stopping supply of the undiluted solution, supplying cleaning solution from the cleaning solution supply line 44, and starts cleaning of the heat transfer pipe 16. |
