PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of silver used in an electrode part to the extent of not deteriorating electrical characteristics in forming an electrode of a solar cell by using a screen printing method.SOLUTION: A screen plate 21 is used for forming a sub-grid electrode of a solar cell. The screen plate 21 includes a mask member; the mask member 21 has an opening 23 corresponding to the sub-grid electrode, and has a thickness reduced toward a predetermined direction; and the opening 23 has a fixed width.
