2-CYANOACRYLATE-BASED ADHESIVE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition having satisfiable stability even when using a glass container as the container of the cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition.SOLUTION: An adhesive composition contains (B) 0.0001-0.01 pt.wt. of sulfur dioxide (SO) and (C) 0.0001-0.01 pt.wt. of trifluoromethane sulfonic acid based on (A) 100 pts.wt. of 2-cyanoacrylate. It is found that this adhesive composition is improved in stability to a glass container, and has equal ability to conventional cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition.
