PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which when moving an image display to a different position on a screen in scanning-type image projection devices and performing the image display, a rotary stage or an angle change mirror is employed as a movement mechanism, the movement mechanism results in bulkiness and an image projection device cannot be downsized, and to provide a scanning-type image projection device that enables miniaturization.SOLUTION: The scanning-type image projection device comprises: a MEMS scanner that includes a reflection mirror; and a MEMS control part that includes a high speed driving circuit performing resonant oscillation of the reflection mirror at high speed and a low speed driving circuit performing the non-resonant oscillation of the reflection mirror at low speed. The MEMS control part includes an off-set driving circuit that off-sets a position in a non-resonant oscillation area in which the low speed oscillation is performed by a predetermined amount. By driving signals of the high speed driving circuit and the low speed driving circuit, the image display is performed in a predetermined display area, and by an off-set signal from the off-set driving circuit, a movement change of a position of the display area in the non-resonant oscillation area is performed. |
