PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the generation of waterdrops by dew condensation in a condensation unit formed at a position lower than a guide surface of a separation member, and evaporate the generated waterdrops in the condensation unit to prevent the occurrence of recording failure by dew condensation.SOLUTION: A fixing device includes a heating member, a pressure member that forms a nip with the heating member, and a separation member that is arranged on the downstream side in the medium conveyance direction of the nip part. The separation member includes a guide unit that has a guide surface for guiding a recording medium to be conveyed, and a condensation unit that is formed at a position lower than the guide surface. |
