PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection method for an electric wire using a compression sleeve that is made wider in range of electric wires which can be connected than a conventional channel-shaped compression sleeve.SOLUTION: There is provided a compression sleeve for electric wire connection which is sectioned in a substantially right-left symmetrical substantial channel shape at right angles to a length direction. One of two raised portions opposed to each other with an opening portion of the compression sleeve up is made low and short. When a plurality of electric wires to be connected are put in the compression sleeve and a compression tool having an operation portion in a substantially right-left symmetrical shape is used to compress the compression sleeve, the two raised portions of the compression sleeve move similarly, the short raised portion comes into contact with an inner side face of the other raised portion by the compression, and an inner side face of the short raised portion comes into close contact with the electric wires, which are wrapped. |
