PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-reinforced composite material which is a fiber composite material obtained by integrating a fiber material with a matrix resin, not only excelling in moldability, heat resistance, light resistance and conservation management of prepreg, but also further improved in bending strength; and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: This fiber-reinforced composite material is obtained by impregnating a fiber material, having a functional group bindable to a carboxy group on the surface, with a matrix resin comprising a thermoplastic acrylic polymer having a carboxy group obtained from a monomer (a) expressed by general formula (1) and a carboxy group-bearing acrylic monomer (b), provided in general formula (1), Rrepresents H or CH; and Rrepresents a 1-4C alkyl group. |
