The purpose of the present invention is to sort a plurality of data entries having a plurality of attributes into a sequence that collectively satisfies a condition related to the plurality of attributes. The information providing server (30) according to the present invention comprises a simple sort unit (48) that computes an evaluation value for sorting a data group of data entries having a plurality of attributes on the basis of a sort key specified for one of the plurality of attributes, said evaluation value being computed for each data entry contained in the data group. The information providing server (30) also comprises: a sort condition setting unit (44) for setting a plurality of sort keys for sorting the data group and a weighting for each of the plurality of sort keys; a compound sort unit (50) for computing a compound evaluation value for each data entry in the data group and sorting the data group, said compound evaluation value being computed with respect to the plurality sort keys on the basis of the evaluation values computed for the sort keys and the weightings for the respective sort keys; and an information providing unit (38) which provides at least a portion of the sort result to a client device (10). |
