PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and surely store operation history information into a nonvolatile memory even when an engine stop instruction is issued.SOLUTION: In a storage control device for an outboard engine, operation history information of the outboard engine is written in a nonvolatile memory using electricity generated by driving an internal combustion engine. The storage control device includes: a stop instruction detection means for detecting a stop instruction for driving the internal combustion engine by an operator; a writing means for writing the operation history information according to the stop instruction detected by the stop instruction detection means into the nonvolatile memory; a writing determination means for determining whether the operation history information is written into the nonvolatile memory by the writing means; and a stop processing means for stopping the drive of the internal combustion engine after the writing determination means determines that the operation history information is written into the nonvolatile memory. |
