PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of restraining an opening/closing member from being held at a closing position to close an opening when a conveyance member that is made to be attachable to/detachable from the opening/closing member that opens/closes the opening of an apparatus main body is not mounted on the opening/closing member.SOLUTION: When a maintenance door 86 is tried to be moved to a closing position without mounting a secondary transfer roll on a moving member, the moving member does not move relative to the maintenance door 86. Therefore, an engaging part 116 comes into contact with a protrusion 118B. Thereby, the movement of the maintenance door 86 to the closing position is blocked, and the engaging part 116 and a part to be engaged 118 are not engaged with each other. Thus, when the secondary transfer roll is not mounted on the moving member, the engaging part 116 and the part to be engaged 118 are not engaged, and the maintenance door 86 is restrained to be held at the closing position. |
