PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of achieving low power consumption and reduction in circuit area.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises a switch, a protection element and a resistance. The switch is connected between a first power terminal to which a first supply voltage is applied and wiring connected to an internal circuit. The protection element and the resistance are connected in series between the wiring and a second power terminal to which a second supply voltage lower than the first supply voltage is applied. The protection element is arranged so as to make a direction from the second power terminal toward the first power terminal be a forward direction. The switch is made to be in a non-conducting state when the protection element passes an inverse current based on a voltage at a node between the protection element and the resistance. |
