PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert analog signals recorded on an analog video tape into digital signals in the time shorter than the reproduction time of the tape.SOLUTION: A dubbing device includes: a tape drive system for driving a video tape of an analog video cassette at an X-multiple speed; a header for reading analog signals from the tape driven at the X-multiple speed; a signal processor for converting the analog signals to digital signals in synchronism with a read speed of the analog signals at the header; a storage device for storing the digital signals; and an interface device for outputting the digital signals to an external device. |
