PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving sound absorption structure capable of providing sound absorption effect effective over a plurality of frequency bandwidths.SOLUTION: A sound absorption structure includes: a closed vessel 1 provided to enclose an equipment main body 11 being a sound source; and a hole plate 4a surrounding the equipment main body 11 inside the closed vessel 1, disposed to form a cavity section 7 between the hole plate 4a and the closed vessel 1, and having a plurality of through holes which communicate with the cavity section 7. The closed vessel 1 and the hole plate 4a constitute a resonant type sound absorption structure. The sound absorption structure may include a resonant type sound absorber 4b having an opening inside the hole plate 4a. |
