<p>A vehicle drive mechanism is provided with, as a power source, an engine which burns gasoline fuel therein to generate power, and a dual rotor motor which operates by three-phase alternating current power. When stopping the engine and causing a vehicle to travel by the dual rotor motor, a control unit generates first and second electromotive torques between a first rotor and a second rotor and between a stator and the second rotor by first and second inverters, respectively, and non-rotatably secures a drive shaft and the first rotor that rotates integrally therewith by a disk brake.</p> |
