<p>A control unit (20) is configured such that disposed are: a drive pattern retaining unit (25) which retains a plurality of drive patterns (OP-S, OP-L) in which, as drive patterns in which an accelerator (10) repeats periodically, the time (To) at which a particle beam (B) may be emitted varies, and even if a hysteresis is present, each respective operation condition is adjusted such that a polarizing electromagnet (13) of the accelerator (10) reaches a desired magnetic field intensity; an illumination condition read-in unit (22) which reads in an illumination condition for each slice of a plurality of slices into which an illumination subject is segmented in the depth direction; a drive pattern selection unit (23) which, on the basis of the read-in illumination condition, selects, from among the plurality of drive patterns, a drive pattern suited to the slice; and a primary control unit (21) which, for each slice, controls the accelerator (10) on the basis of the selected drive pattern, and controls an illumination device (40) on the basis of the illumination condition.</p> |
