PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle and a method of controlling the same.SOLUTION: The vehicle includes: a battery cell that supplied with a charge current from a power generation module in order to be charged; a diode connected in series between the power generation module and the battery cell, which allows the charge current to flow therethrough; and a control unit that adjusts the charge current supplied from the power generation module according to a temperature of the diode.
