PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell that allows smooth and uniform circulation of reaction gas along a reaction gas passage with a simple and economical configuration.SOLUTION: A fuel cell 10 includes power generation units 12 each having a first membrane electrode assembly 16a. The first membrane electrode assembly 16a has a first resin frame member 58 provided on an outer edge thereof. In a first surface of the first resin frame member 58, an inlet buffer portion 62a and an outlet buffer portion 62b are provided that are connected to a first oxidant gas passage 26b. In a second surface of the first resin frame member 58, an inlet buffer portion 68a and an outlet buffer portion 68b are provided that are connected to a first fuel gas passage 34 and formed separately from the inlet buffer portion 62a and the outlet buffer portion 62b. |
