PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide styrene-based foaming resin particles which can give a foamed molding having excellent bending strength with a small amount of steam.SOLUTION: Styrene-based foaming resin particles include a resin component derived from a mono-functional acrylic ester and a resin component derived from a polyfunctional vinyl-based monomer. A large amount of the resin component derived from the mono-functional acrylic ester is contained in the central part of the styrene-based foaming resin particles, and a large amount of the resin component derived from the polyfunctional vinyl-based monomer is contained in the surface layer of the styrene-based foaming resin particles. The surface layer exhibits a relative average cell diameter within the range of 40-80 when the average cell diameter in the central part is set to 100. |
