This drive control system is equipped with: an engine; a first rotary electric machine; a second rotary electric machine; a first differential mechanism; a second differential mechanism; and a switching unit. The first differential mechanism and the second differential mechanism are connected together via output rotary components. The engine, first rotary electric machine, and second rotary electric machine are respectively connected to different rotary components of the first differential mechanism and the second differential mechanism. The switching unit switches between an independent mode wherein the first differential mechanism and the second differential mechanism differentially rotate independently of each other and a four-component mode wherein one rotary component of the first differential mechanism and one rotary component of the second differential mechanism are connected together. While in the four-component mode, the rotary component connected to the engine, the rotary component connected to the first rotary electric machine, the rotary component connected to the second rotary electric machine, and the output rotary components differentially rotate. In a collinear graph of the four-component mode, either the rotary component (R1) connected to the first rotary electric machine or the rotary component (C2) connected to the second rotary electric machine is positioned between the rotary component (S1) connected to the engine and the output rotary components (C1, S2). |
